Artist and herbalist Paige Emery will be presenting a performance lecture, “An Apothecary for Transitioning Between Worlds”, on how herbalism can aid our bodies on the bridge between a dying world and a new world we want to exist. Interweaving lecture, music, and meditation, this performance lecture will explore ways of reclaiming connection to the healing medicine of plants amidst a capitalist society that has made us sick. She will be diving into herbalist teachings with the plants she works with to share how embodied healing needs to be alongside the worldbuilding of the current ecological turn.
